Getting started

rook replaces a ghostty + tmux daily driver. The first goal is muscle-memory parity — splits, tab and window switching, copy mode, search, scrollback, clipboard (OSC 52), true color, and your fonts — not a feature matrix.

Once installed, launch rook.app and open a pane. Everything is dispatched through a single command registry, so every action is available from the command palette, a keybinding, or a click.

The built-in agent is being built from inside the terminal itself. Parity first, magic second.
